Important Change in Immunization Policy If you have insurance with vaccine coverage, you are no longer eligible for free or reduced vaccine services previously offered through the Denton County Health Department , Care Van and other providers. Insured children will be required to receive vaccinations from their primary care providers. If you are not sure of your coverage, please contact your insurance carrier. |

Library Month Leopards, visit The Colony Public Library during the month of May and any student enrolled in Lakeview Middle School who applies for a new card, or who checks out books with his or her existing card, will receive a free gift from the library. Be spotted at The Colony Public Library this month! Also, all books and fines are due to the library by Friday, May 18th. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Grant, the librarian. Be spotted turning in your books! |

Parent Appreciation Week Fraud Alert To ensure student safety Lewisville ISD (LISD) is informing the community about fraudulent “Parent Appreciation Week” phone calls. LISD has been informed that there is an individual placing illegitimate calls to some students in the area, which reference the district. The individual explains that the reason for the call is LISD “Parent Appreciation Week.” Please note that this individual is not affiliated with LISD and anyone who receives such a call should report it to the local police department. Anyone associated with the district should not ask a parent for a student’s direct phone number. As always, student safety is a high priority. We urge you to take this opportunity to talk with your child about safety measures, which include how to appropriately respond to unsolicited phone calls. |
